This stunning Blue-headed Vireo was found on the ground in a Palm Coast parking lot. These winter migrants are typically found high in the treetops foraging for insects. Migration is a necessary, but hazardous, fact of life for many birds. Collisions with windows, diminished habitats, and food scarcity can cause injuries and death. This little guy is well on the road to recovery and should fly back into the wild before too long. We are the only wild Byrd rehab rehabilitation group in Northeast
