This is a pattern I started playing with last year specifically for targeting Cutthroat Trout in our rivers and sloughs. I have had enough success with it that I wanted to share it with you all. Don’t think this is only a Cutthroat fly though, I was able to catch some nice Coho on it this Fall as well as a couple of Bull Trout. This is something that I tie in size 10-6 hook, but a size 8 is the most common that I fish. I typically fish this pattern with a full floating line with a 10’ Intermedia
