You think art is trash? You might be right. Each year GLEAN offers five artists a 5-month residency with a chance to glean materials from the Metro Central Transfer Station, aka the dump. The program challenges artists and the public to reconsider what we throw away. The resulting work of the 2023 residency is now on view at parallaxartcenter in Portland through March 15.
