Day four of making a pottery advent calendar 🐬 Today we are heading under the sea 🐟 These little moulds are one piece press moulds. Each one features a different sea creature, fish, seahorses, dolphins, and a starfish too. I pour them up and flip them out before I begin painting. I add a coat of paint and then antique wash an additional colour on top to get the highlights of the piece showing. I cover it with a white glaze that turns the piece glossy and pearly.
