COANJ Annual Conference in AC this week. The Clerks, Surrogates, Sheriffs, and Registers are all elected representatives who are members of either major political party. Our newly installed President is the Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor. For 3 days, even while we had a panel of reporters making predictions about the election, politics did not divide us. At time in history, when neighbors cannot speak to neighbors, lifelong friendships fall apart, and families don't spend holidays
