Why and how do we treat invasive species in wetlands? 💡 🌱 A major invasive found in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) wetlands is phragmites—one of the most prominent wetland invasive species in Northeast Ohio. ❌ Left untreated, invasive species will take over wetlands by draining most of the water and outcompeting native wetland plants. 🐸 Treating these invasive species also improves habitat, which can increase wildlife in the area. 🤝 This 600-acre wetland project in the Lower Cuyaho
