We’ve recently added new LED solar road studs on the A417 to make the road safer. 🚗These bright studs improve visibility, helping drivers better see the road layout. We've also replaced the dashed centre line with a double solid white line to help discourage overtaking, in line with The Highway Code. This work comes after five serious collisions involving vehicles crossing the dashed centre line. 🛣️ Plus, the new road studs are lower-profile, making the road safer for motorcyclists too. #RoadS

We've closed Valiant Road leading into Gloucester Business Park this morning following a report of a concern for welfare. Emergency services are at the scene with Hucclecote Road and the A417 leading into the business park both closed. The A417 into Gloucester itself remains open.
