In 1966, Walt Disney (with the help of Mary Blair) donated a mural to the Jules Stein Institute for their children’s wing. The 220 square foot artwork was installed around the door to the children’s examination room. Mary Blair drew inspiration from her work on It’s a Small World, with the mural featuring children from around the world.
