25K views · 520 reactions | Nothing like spending the day scraping glue off of the back of a painting. The old lining needed to come off and the adhesive was rabbit skin glue. Luckily, this glue can be softened and swollen which allows the removal to be fairly easy if a bit stinky. Unfortunately, it took much longer than I anticipated and that’s kind of a bummer.
