a quick tutorial on making a flexible training pell. I used an old coverall I had lying around, stuffed it with clothes and pillows I wasn’t using anymore, and mounted it on a beach umbrella stand filled with water. All in, it’s about $15 if you had to pick up a few pieces, but mostly it’s just repurposing what you already have. It’s a great, budget-friendly way to get your training in at home. And hey, never underestimate the magic of swap meets and thrift stores for finding those hidden gems.

Just a short training vid—keeping the HEMA tradition alive! In medieval times, Training Against Wooden Posts (Pell Training) improved technique and built impact conditioning. No complaints, no flinching, no mercy. Just pure impact training. * Oh... this is a dead tree before I even get this feedback—being a tree murderer. | Recon Method
