The kill pen babies have arrived at Healing Hearts! Thanks to several rescues throughout the United States, 16 orphan foals were rescued from the Bowie kill pen in Texas in early August. The foals ranged in age from 2 to 4 months, and were at high risk of infection and disease. These little ones were in quarantine for over two months, working through some health issues.
