What’s it like today at a library? Here’s a short video from our Flowing Wells Library. There were a lot of visitors first thing in the morning but it had quieted by lunchtime. As you can see, Flowing Wells is one of the libraries that can let folks inside. The computer lab and the desk are open, as is the book-drop. What did our old Main Library look like in 1983? In this scene from the TV Show “Little House on the Prairie,” a young girl runs into the library to get a copy of the Laura Ingalls Wilder book the show was based on. We moved to our current location at 101 N. Stone 7 years later in 1990. This old (1901) library building on 6th Ave. is now the Children's Museum Tucson. P.S.
