Drumming is sacred in many Indigenous cultures. Gathering around the drum is an act of unity, connecting generations through songs that carry stories of the past and form strong bonds for the future. Every beat is a declaration: We are still here. As we approach the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the sound of the drum calls on all of us to listen.
