Army acronym for the day: HUET HUET = Helicopter Underwater Escape Training Six members from the 4th Brigade’s Civil-Military Co-operation Tactical Support Team recently completed their HUET course at the Naval Aviation Sea Survival Centre in NSW. This training provides our members with the knowledge, skills and confidence to improve their chances of surviving a helicopter ditching in water. HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) is a tough, high-pressure course you must pass before flying to offshore oil rigs in Australia.
