The car was imported to the UK in 2015 from Maine, USA and it then underwent a restoration including complete new floor - front to back, new wings and sills and was finished in the iconic ‘Chevy Midnight Blue Metallic’. The Project was to recreate the Dan Gurney Impala that famously raced at Silverstone in 1961, with some minor changes to comply with today’s racing rules.
