A second impeachment complaint was filed against Philippines Vice President Sara Duterte at the House of Representatives on Wednesday, in the latest bid to oust her after her apparent threat to have President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

A group led by left-wing activists has filed a second impeachment complaint against the Philippine vice president over her alleged misuse of government funds and demanded that she be permanently barred from holding public office.

Another impeachment complaint was filed against Vice President Sara Duterte before the House of Representatives on Wednesday. More than 70 individuals from various sectors filed the second impeachment complaint against Duterte.
