Emergency services say 10 have been killed in Israel, while Iranian state media has given little information about casualties in Iran.

Gas prices "will likely start to rise across much of the country later this evening in response to Israel's attacks on Iran, which have caused oil prices to surge," Patrick de Haan, the head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, said on Friday in a post on X.

Iran struck buildings in the heart of Israel, killing at least 10. Israeli strikes expanded to energy facilities, natural gas installations and government buildings.
