MONTGOMERY COUNTY — Five Rivers MetroParks announced that it will close on Sunday as a winter storm moves the area. MetroParks staff posted the winter weather alert on their social media page Sunday morning. There are a few exceptions to the closure.

Several schools and businesses are closed today as an impactful winter storm moves through the Miami Valley and Southern Ohio. Schools across the area, including Dayton Public Schools and Springfield City Schools, are closed today. Some schools have already announced closures for Tuesday.

Dozens of schools, businesses, and churches announced closures for Monday across Greater Cincinnati due to the winter storm.

As the snow from Winter Storm Blair closed dozens of schools across the region Monday, the scheduled hearing regarding the closure of Harman School in Randolph County has been pushed back as well.
