The African National Congress's Integrity Commission cleared the party's deputy president, Paul Mashatile, of any wrongdoing after he was fined in Parliment.

Parliament’s portfolio committee on basic education has raised concerns about new regulations out for public comment governing the admission policies of public schools in South Africa.

He said that no government decision or policy must be made without considering women and its impact on their everyday lives.
