Here's how to watch back-to-back northern lights on Monday, July 30, and Tuesday, July 1, in the United States.
Fair auroral activity is forecast over the skies of Canada and some northern U.S. states Wednesday night, with forecasters expecting similar activity Thursday.
Auroras may be visible from Alaska to New York as an incoming solar storm could spark geomagnetic storm conditions overnight.
But at least for now, any time after darkness settles in (sunset is 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening) may be worth a glance towards the northern skies to try your luck.
One viewer shared, "I was just outside having a fire when my cousin saw some weird lights in the sky. We decided to record it. Might not be anything crazy but I'm just trying to get a better idea ...
People in some parts of the U.S. may be able to see the northern lights this evening.
