The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that star winger Mitch Marner is dealing with an injury and is officially listed as day-to-day. In a worrisome development on Tuesday, Mitch Marner missed his second straight practice. Initially given a maintenance day, it seemed that things were a bit worse than originally thought.

Though a game time decision for his @MapleLeafs meeting with the Flames tonight, Mitch Marner has been enjoying a career season as he owns 70 points thus far in 2024-25. Getting there via 1 goal and 1 assist on Saturday vs EDM, he tied for the 4th fewest games to the mark on here

Dangle's projection comes nearly one month after he envisioned, on New Year's Eve, Marner signing a contract extension worth $13.1 million per season. However, he offered that projection before the new salary cap estimations were released by the NHL at the end of January.
