Minnesota Vikings free-agent quarterback Daniel Jones has a few teams in mind for his next destination, and the Vikings are on his shortlist.

Diana Russini of ESPN reported on Sunday that there are now two expected leading contenders to sign veteran quarterback Daniel Jones in free agency this offseason. They are the Indianapolis Colts and the Minnesota Vikings.

After four NFL seasons, quarterback Daniel Jones received a significant contract from the Giants. Midway through its second season, the Giants moved on. Now, the 2019 first-round pick heads toward free agency.

According to Jonathan Jones, free agent QB Daniel Jones has quietly had a “strong market” up to this point in the offseason. Jones says that a return to the Vikings can’t be ruled out, but he has interest from other teams including the Colts.

Daniel Jones could actually have a market to start in 2025. The failed Giants first-round pick is gaining some interest as a free agent, as ESPN.com reported the Colts and Browns have shown interest in the former top-10 draft pick.
