A reputable Call of Duty leaker has provided some details on the 2026 release of the franchise, and it's reportedly being developed for the next Xbox.

Next up for Call of Duty is the upcoming Season 3 update for Black Ops 6 and Warzone. It was previously expected in March but has now shifted to early April. Warzone's fifth anniversary is on March 20, and the game may have surprises in store to celebrate.

A new rumor has surfaced stating that Call of Duty 2026 is Modern Warfare 4, and is being developed using the next Xbox devkits.

Call of Duty may have delayed its next big Warzone update, but that hasn't stopped players from speculating about Verdansk.

It must be said, it is possible that a next generation Xbox won’t be arriving until 2028 at the earliest, and that Activision is still making a native port of next year’s Call of Duty for that platform.
