The City of Natchitoches is urging all residents to conserve water to prevent critical depletion of water levels.

A water main break is affecting areas in Ocean Springs. Areas affected are Vermont Street, Ray Street, De La Rose Drive, Bayou Drive. These streets are in the area behind the Winn Dixie and old Krispy Kreme building.

LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. -- City of Little Falls officials have issued a boil water order following a water main break.

A boil water notice is issued when water in a city's distribution system may be unsafe for consumption or may pose an acute health risk. A boil water notice is "intended to reduce the possibility of waterborne illnesses resulting from consuming water which may contain harmful chemicals," the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality writes.

More and more people are having their houses repaired following that massive water main break that flooded a large potion of southwest Detroit, damaging water heaters and furnaces that are now being replaced.

Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan said roughly half of 110 households that lost their furnaces have had them replaced at this point. Six-week timeline on track.
