A s Storm Floris continues to hit, the Met Office has warned it is likely to bring a spell of unseasonably strong and potentially disruptive winds across Northern Ireland. The yellow warning hit the north from 6am on Monday, bringing gale force winds, while there are weather alerts throughout much of the UK.

Storm Floris brought power outages and plane cancellations as Northern Ireland was hit by its strongest winds in 36 years.
