To make room on the roster, the Steelers waived longsnapper Tucker Addington and guard Nick Broeker. Woodside was added to replace Will Howard for the remainder of the preseason. Howard broke a bone in his hand at training camp practice and is expected to miss all of the preseason and training camp.

The Pittsburgh Steelers expect defensive lineman Derrick Harmon to play on Saturday against the Jaguars despite missing Wednesday‘s practice, head coach Mike Tomlin said. Harmon was not seen on the field working in individuals Wednesday.
