SMOKE from a large moor fire on the North York Moors has blown across the county and could be detected almost 60 miles away.

The order came after officials in the nation’s capital sued on Friday to block President Donald Trump’s takeover of the capital’s police.

TWO woodland fires are believed to have been deliberately started in North Yorkshire last night, Friday 15 August.
