Princess Kate's recovery was "harder than we thought", according to a royal insider, as the Princess of Wales announced she has entered a new chapter in her cancer journey. Kate, 43, announced her relief at being in remission from cancer after her first solo engagement since 2023,

"The princess’s presence on the wards was so encouraging and sent the message 'I went through this just like you, and you can overcome it, too'."

The Princess of Wales revealed Tuesday that her cancer is in remission, following treatment earlier this year at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.

Kate Middleton is giving back to the hospital where she was treated for cancer last year. The Princess of Wales, along with her husband Prince William, have become joint patrons of the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
