Lonzo Ball wants to be known for his defense. But this season, he still wasn’t sure when — or if — he would get that part of his game back.

Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball underwent a rare meniscus transplant procedure in early 2023, which was successful and allowed him to return to the court, much like former power forward Travis Meeks did in 2007.
