Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks added Top 250 national recruit on Wednesday’s signing day. And they did it by pulling away a member of Georgia Tech’s recruiting class. Damola Ajidahun announced he was signing with the South Carolina football program. He had been committed to the Yellow Jackets since early August.

Four-star OL Damola Ajidahun had been looking at several other options down the back nine of his recruitment. On National Signing Day, the No. 20-ranked offensive tackle in the Rivals250 pulled the trigger on his much-expected flip.

South Carolina continues to build it's 2025 recruiting class, this time adding flipping offensive tackle Damola Ajidahun from Georgia Tech. The 6-foot-6 and 285 pound tackle out of Duluth, Georgia is the second offensive tackle in this class following Shedrick Sarratt Jr.

South Carolina conducted a multi-name national search for its replacement for athletic director Ray Tanner, and has zeroed in on TCU's Jeremiah Donati.

Donati will take over for long-time South Carolina athletic director Ray Tanner, who announced in September he was moving to a different role as special advisor to university President Michael Amiridis when his successor was selected.
