That possibility is a reality Thursday afternoon, as top hip-hop and R&B artists are set to perform at a Watts benefit concert. Gates open for the "11th Annual TDE Christmas Concert & Toy Drive + Community Giveback" event at the Nickerson Gardens Housing Projects at 11 a.
TDE Got Kendrick Lamar, SZA, And More For Their 11th Annual Christmas Concert And Toy Drive
The lineup features Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul (so all four members of Black Hippy), SZA, Doechii, Isaiah Rashad, SiR, Ray Vaughn, and Zacari, as well as some unannounced special guests. Some “local openers” are set to kick things off at 1 p.m. PT before the “main show” starts at 2:30.

Kendrick Lamar and SZA are set to hit the stage for a good cause. The artists will perform at Top Dawg Entertainment’s 11th annual Christmas concert and toy drive. The two-day community giveback event supports the Nickerson Gardens Housing Projects in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles and it’s hosted by the Carson-based record label famously known for signing Lamar and SZA.
