Chelsea took one step into the quarter-finals of the UEFA Conference League with a 2-1 win at Copenhagen on Thursday in the first leg of their last 16 tie, while Panathinaikos and Fiorentina played out a five-goal thriller.

Chelsea have made a sluggish start to their Conference League last-16 tie against FC Copenhagen. The Blues have a perfect record in the competition so far this season but it is goalless after an uneventful opening 45 minutes in Denmark, in which Enzo Maresca’s side failed to register a single shot on target and lost Malo Gusto to injury.
