After being acquired by the New Orleans Pelicans at the 2025 trade deadline, veteran swingman Bruce Brown Jr.'s time in the Big Easy has come to an end after just a few months.

ESPN reported that the Denver Nuggets are trading Michael Porter Jr., along with an unprotected 2032 first-round pick, to the Brooklyn Nets for Cam Johnson.

Minutes later, the Nuggets brought back old friend Bruce Brown in free agency. As one member of Denver’s 2023 championship team exits in Porter, another one enters in Brown. Johnson had the best year of his career with the Brooklyn Nets last season.
