New-look Leafs: Toronto shuffles lines as Mitch Marner, Anthony Stolarz return
SEATTLE — Mitch Marner will be back in the Maple Leafs lineup when they face the Seattle Kraken on Thursday night. Marner missed his first game this season in Calgary on Tuesday night with what he called a “spasm thing” that popped up suddenly earlier in the week.
Marner is one of four Maple Leafs selected for the tournament, joining Auston Matthews (USA) and William Nylander ( (Sweden).
McDavid and Marner are the same age and grew up in the Greater Toronto Hockey League, but they have never been on the same team.
