A 6.4-magnitude earthquake has struck southern Taiwan, leaving 27 people with minor injuries and some reported damage

A powerful magnitude 6.0 earthquake rocked southern Taiwan on Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A magnitude-6 earthquake hit Taiwan on Tuesday, causing buildings in the capital Taipei to shake. No major damage was caused.

A magnitude 3.6 earthquake occurred near Fall City, Washington, Monday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The quake, which was recorded at 1:35 p.m., was centered just northeast of Fall City. The earthquake was relatively shallow, with a depth of 12.8 kilometers (approximately 7.9 miles).

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.5 hit Guam around 3:48 p.m. Tuesday, based on U.S. Geological Survey data.

A 3.5 magnitude earthquake was reported near Fall City on Monday afternoon at 1:35 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey’s earthquake hazards program. The quake’s epicenter was about 7 miles north of North Bend,
