Hulu’s livestream cut off in the final moments of the show — with two major award categories, best actress and best picture, still to be announced because of a scheduling system issue. Those viewing the awards ceremony on Hulu instead saw an error code message that stated the event was over.

Hulu announced on its official Instagram account that "Anora" is heading to the streaming platform soon. "✨Anora✨ winner of 5 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, arrives March 17 on Hulu," the streamer revealed in early March.

“Anora,” the profane but critically acclaimed comedy that led the way at Sunday’s Academy Awards ceremony with five wins, will make its streaming debut on Hulu March 17. Hulu announced the date on its official Instagram account Monday afternoon.

Viewers watching the 97th Academy Awards on Hulu were left wondering if the streamer had crashed on Sunday, March 2, when the telecast abruptly ended just before the final two categories — Best Actress and Best Picture — were announced. But it appears the show was merely cut off because it had been running over.
