Alabama men’s basketball hasn’t done much to inspire confidence of late. The Crimson Tide has lost its last two games and four of the past six, the latest being a 99-94 loss to No. 5 Florida on Wednesday at Coleman Coliseum. Nate Oats was asked how concerned he is about Alabama (23-7, 12-5 SEC) after the recent losses.

There is no shame in losing games against Missouri, Auburn, Tennessee and Florida. The Crimson Tide have even mixed in wins against #17 Kentucky and #24 Mississippi State during this stretch. That's just life in the SEC this year. Nate Oats isn't worried about the losses, but he is worried about how the Crimson Tide are losing these games.

In Alabama's final home of the regular season, No. 5 Florida came out victorious in a 99-94 shootout against the Crimson Tide. That loss was the second straight and fourth out of the last six games for Alabama, and Crimson Tide head coach Nate Oats is keenly aware of the downward spiral his team is on.
