Florida quarterback DJ Lagway will be “limited in throwing activities” during spring practice, coach Billy Napier said Thursday. Napier also said Lagway was dealing with a lower-body injury, but the coach provided few details other than saying the quarterback didn't have any offseason surgery.

The Florida Gators announced on Wednesday morning that they will be having their pro day on March 27th. Pro day, very similar to the NFL combine that just concluded in Indianapolis, will only consist of players who went to that school.

The former Florida quarterback noted on Friday that he looks to emulate Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford under center.

Eighteen draft-eligible Florida Gators will participate in the team's Pro Day on March 27, according to the University Athletic Association. Players will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of combine style events, including weigh-ins, bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 40-yard dash, 60-yard shuttle and position workouts.
