BLOOMINGTON — Indiana basketball guard Trey Galloway orchestrated a fitting send-off for him and his fellow seniors on the same day they were honored at Assembly Hall. Galloway’s 3-pointer with 1:24 left the game that all but clinched the 66-60 victory over Ohio State.

Trey Galloway has been at Indiana for five seasons. He is the all-time leader in games played in Hoosiers history.

Trey Galloway made a 3-pointer with 1:58 to play that gave Indiana a one point lead in the final minutes. Unfortunately for the Hoosiers, they couldn't protect that lead and gave up a three on the other end to Jackson Shelstad on the following possession.

Galloway, a Culver, Ind., native, is also making his way up the Indiana point and assists leaderboards. He has 973 career points going into Tuesday’s game, and he could soon become one of 56 players in program history to score 1,000 points. Galloway recently passed Isiah Thomas, and he’s five points behind Matt Nover and 35 behind Jared Jeffries.
