According to the CDC, as of Dec. 31, 2024, a total of 285 Measles cases were reported by 33 jurisdictions. The state most affected going into the new year has been Texas.

Cases of the highly contagious disease are expected to rise and potentially spread to other states where vaccination rates are low.
