Police said that entering the venue Kneecap were to play a surprise performance in London was part of a policing plan around safety. Three police officers were seen walking into the venue around 7.35pm past a queue forming before the doors opened and were later posted outside.

A member of the Northern Irish rap group Kneecap was accused of illegally displaying a flag in support of Hezbollah. Kneecap denied the offense.
