COLUMBUS, Ohio — Former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer, one of the most decorated coaching figures in college football, will be inducted into the Class of 2025 College Football Hall of Fame. The organization announced Meyer's induction into the Hall of Fame on Wednesday.
Urban Meyer will join Nick Saban in the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame class, while Michael Vick and Michael Strahan are among the former players who will be inducted. The National Football Foundation announced Saban’s selection last week and the rest of the 18-player, four-coach class Wednesday.
Meyer becomes the 14th representative of the Gators program and the fifth Florida coach to receive this honor.
And of course, quarterback Riley Leonard is from Fairhope, Ala., southeast of Mobile. He came to Notre Dame via transfer from Duke, but he also grew up a Fighting Irish fan, his great grandfather having played for Notre Dame in the 1940s.
