European Union foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas pushed back on Wednesday against Donald Trump for saying that Europe lagged behind the U.S. in aid for Ukraine, and insisted the bloc must have a seat at the table when the time comes for peace talks.

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 25. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas is set to visit Azerbaijan as part of a regional tour, a diplomatic source in Brussels told Trend. “A formal note has been sent to the Azerbaijani side,” the source added.
According to Turkish media reports, K. Kallas’ meetings with Turkish officials are expected to focus on EU-Turkey relations as well as the situation in the region – Syria, Gaza, Russia’s war against Ukraine.
