Taylor Sheridan and Blake Shelton are teaming up for a new country music competition series, and Keith Urban is joining them. TVLine reports that the four-time Grammy winner will headline The Road on CBS.

The Road,' a country music reality show will be taped at The Factory in Deep Ellum Tuesday, producer Blake Shelton announced on Facebook.

Keith Urban is doing some filming for Blake Shelton and Taylor Sheridan‘s upcoming CBS show The Road, and he needs your help. The premise of the show is quite unique: Twelve bands are competing to be the “Straight Line” singer’s opening act on tour.

The series, which will premiere this fall, follows emerging musicians as they open for a headlining superstar at venues across the country.
