The 11th AP Top 25 poll of the 2025-26 college basketball season was released Monday, and for the first time, there is a unanimous No. 1 team. Arizona (18-0) received all 61 first-place votes this week after picking up wins over Arizona State and UCF and remained in the top spot for the sixth consecutive week.

The mid-January stretch of the college basketball season is where the powerhouses truly separate themselves from the rest. In this week’s AP Top 25 poll, the theme was resilience at the top and chaos in the middle.

Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza spent the College Football Playoff showing the nation just why he earned the Heisman Trophy. Mendoza threw more touchdown passes (eight) than incompletions (five) in Indiana’s first two playoff victories — lopsided wins over Alabama in the Rose Bowl quarterfinal and Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl semifinal.

As Arizona stays perfect at the top, riding on its undefeated streak, Iowa State found itself landing in a pothole after back-to-back losses in Week 10, as UConn also found a way to survive a scare, brushing past Georgetown 64-62 in a game that could have swayed either way.
