More and more people are having their houses repaired following that massive water main break that flooded a large potion of southwest Detroit, damaging water heaters and furnaces that are now being replaced.

A major water main break has closed a road in Southport. According to the City of Southport, Stuart Avenue is closed between Leonard Street and Moore Street until further notice. Crews with Brunswick County Public Utilities are on the scene and working to make repairs.

The City of Natchitoches is urging all residents to conserve water to prevent critical depletion of water levels.
