Wake Forest sure looks like a down-trodden program. Officially the fourth of ESPN’s Joe Lunardi’s Last Four In, and still having to face Duke at Cameron, this was a must-win for the Demon Deacons. And yet it was the quietest ACC crowd I’ve heard in quite a while.

The UVA Basketball team didn’t really cost the ACC a couple of million dollars by putting Wake Forest out of its NCAA Tournament bubble misery.

But that was the situation Wednesday, rolling into Winston-Salem, N.C., with a chance to throw a wrench in Wake Forest’s NCAA Tournament hopes, and junior guard Isaac McKneely was more than up to the task.
