BLOOMINGTON — Indiana basketball guard Trey Galloway orchestrated a fitting send-off for him and his fellow seniors on the same day they were honored at Assembly Hall. Galloway’s 3-pointer with 1:24 left the game that all but clinched the 66-60 victory over Ohio State.

Indiana senior guard Trey Galloway will set the program record for games played Tuesday at Oregon. He’s also nearing 1,000 career points and climbing Indiana’s assists leaderboard.

As the Indiana men’s basketball team took the floor for the final time before tipoff Saturday afternoon against Ohio State, fifth-year senior guard Trey Galloway took his usual place at the front of a long, Cream and Crimson-colored line.

Trey Galloway and Malik Reneau scored 16 points each and Indiana erased a 10-point second-half deficit en route to a 66-60 victory over Ohio State on Saturday.

Indiana secured the No. 9 seed and a first-round bye in the Big Ten Tournament with the win over the Buckeyes. The Hoosiers will begin postseason play against the No. 8 seed in the second round at noon Thursday in Indianapolis. The contest will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.

But by the end of 40 minutes, Indiana got the win and potentially solidified its spot in the NCAA Tournament, which is all you could have asked for from today’s game. Indiana will now have a Big Ten Tournament first round bye,
