On Dec. 11, Deadline reported that a “Friday Night Lights” reboot series will air on Peacock. It will come from original showrunner Jason Katims, original series director Peter Berg, and producer Brian Grazer. Berg and Kitsch are currently working together again on “American Primeval.”

Taylor Kitsch is changing his tune about whether or not he would appear in a Friday Night Lights reboot. The actor, who played Tim Riggins in the original sports drama series, would be interested in making a cameo.

While discussing the reboot of the hit NBC drama on Sirius XM’s “The Spotlight with Jessica Shaw” (via ET ), series star Kitsch said he’s “been asked” to come back for it. And although he remains open to returning to the field in some capacity, don’t expect him to stick around for more than “an episode.”
