The Sixers pulled out a second consecutive win Tuesday night, squeaking out a 110-104 victory over the Hornets.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Philadelphia 76ers were looking to finish off a quick 2-game road trip the right way when they paid a visit to the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday in the NBA Cup. Both teams were already eliminated from advancing to the knockout round, but Philadelphia was looking for momentum.

The Sixers certainly didn’t make it easy, blowing a lead that was as large as 19, but Paul George dropped 29 as they finally won consecutive games vs. the Hornets.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Philadelphia 76ers made a move in the depth chart department as they brought in Pete Nance on a two-way deal. When considering the injuries to Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond, it makes sense why the Sixers did so.

The Sixers made the signing of Nance to a two-way deal official on Tuesday morning as well as the waiving of Lester Quinones to make room for him. The big man was averaging 18.3 points and 6.6 rebounds for the Cleveland Charge in the G League and he makes for a good depth piece with Philadelphia hurting in the center department at the moment.
